Dr. Jackson and his staff provide a wide variety of dental services, ranging from preventive to restorative to cosmetic care. With more than 20 years of experience, Dr. Jackson has a gentle touch and calming presence. When you visit our practice, Dr. Jackson will first listens to your concerns, then perform a comprehensive assessment. He will make sure you understand his recommended treatment, and then you can determine which treatment options suit you. Our treatment coordinator will be glad to help you with financial arrangements and scheduling. |
Prevention
- Dental hygiene and cleaning
- Regular check-ups
- Periodontal care - We offer non-surgical periodontal therapy, including scaling and root planing (or deep cleaning). The hygienist will remove plaque that has hardened in pockets below the gum line. This reduces gum irritation that can lead to gum disease. If infection is present, we may apply Arestin, an antibiotic, into the gum pockets. For
more extensive periodontal care, we will refer you to a trusted colleague who
specializes in periodontics.
- NTI Tension Suppression System (NTI-tss) for TMD - If you grind your
teeth, notice strain in your jaw muscles, or have frequent tension
headaches, you may suffer from temporomandibular joint
dysfunction (TMD). Often caused by a misaligned bite, this
condition leads to jaw discomfort and worn down teeth. We
offer various therapies to alleviate TMD, including the
conservative NTI-tss oral appliance that
eliminates nighttime grinding.
