CEREC One-Visit Restorations

CEREC allows Dr. Jackson to create porcelain inlays, onlays, and crowns accurately and quickly. Traditionally, temporary crowns are placed during one appointment and permanent crowns in a second appointment. Between the two appointments, temporary crowns can break or fall off, creating the need for a third visit – not to mention the hassle and irritation of an unprotected tooth. CEREC changes all of that, allowing Dr. Jackson to prepare, create, and fit permanent crowns, inlays, and onlays in one appointment.

Intraoral Camera

Our intraoral camera provides real-time imaging for patients to view the interior of their mouth. While scanning the teeth and gums, Dr. Jackson can indicate areas that require further treatment (i.e., decay, cavities, gum disease, etc.). He can show them exactly what he sees, so there is no question about the severity of a particular problem.

Digital Impressions

Creating customized dental restorations is now a mess-free and easy-to-administer process, thanks to our digital impression system. Dr. Jackson can use a small, camera-tipped handpiece to scan a patient’s smile in preparation for lab technicians to build a crown, veneer, bridge, etc. The clear and accurate imaging captured from these impressions far outweighs those produced with cold, messy dental putty.

Soft Tissue Laser

With our gentle, conservative dental laser, Dr. Jackson can fill many cavities without administering anesthesia. The laser vaporizes cavities, eliminating the painful vibration and heat that cause discomfort when a traditional dental handpiece is used. He can also lengthen crowns, perform biopsies for oral cancer, remove excessive gum tissue, and perform frenectomies for lip and tongue tie, all while ensuring more comfort.
